I have a DC07 and the brush wasn't rotating and I had no suction at the brush but perfect suction through the hose. I noticed a large build up of dog hair around the brush so I took off the cover plate and removed all the hair, cleaned inside the floor/brush housing and cleaned out the hose. I also cleaned the filter and removed the other air access cover and made sure that they were clear. I put everything back and the brush still doesn't turn and there is still no suction through the bottom

Any thoughts? thanks. lorri

Is the noise a loud screaming or a grinding/vibration? The screaming is an air flow problem and you'll want to check your hoses are clear and all the seals are tight. The grinding is an issue with the roller/belt/clutch/motor/housing. From what I'm r ... Dyson DC07 Animal Bagless Upright Cyclonic Vacuum

Hmmm Hi there, I actually had tried everything you mentioned except for the vinegar idea which I'll do when I get back up to my home in Oregon. I checked for pinches, the heater, etc. Water does NOT come out of the accessory tool and only will dispense out of the main area for a second or two..any liquid actually starts filling up the area right behind the nozzles and around the pump instead of OUT of the machine. I checked gaskets, made sure there was a tight seal, and even made sure the little

Hi. I can get my FunLock 007D serger threaded fine (as it's color coded) until I get down to the area that includes threading the needle. It sounds as though a belt is rubbing or slightly off-track. The sound is extremely loud. We've removed the plate around the brush bar, made sure the brushes are free of dog hair, and found that the belt appears to be on track. What should we try now? We haven't tried to use it to check for suction for fear of doing real damage! Thank you. Marcia VanDyne

The roller-brush on my Dyson DC17 makes a terrible noise at all times. I removed the cover and extracted all debris from this area, making sure all connections were as secure as possible, but that didn't improve it any. On the DC07, the entire cyclone assembly must be removed to empty the dust, debris, etc. collected when vacuuming. On the top of the cyclone is a "trigger" that you lift with your finger to release the bottom catch, which allows a clear flap to open on the "clear bin," thus letting all the debris fall out. My problem is when you lift the finger trigger, it does not release the catch on the bottom. Since the catch won't release, I cannot remove the entire clear bin either from the cyclone.Any sug
