Does anyone know where I can get a motor bearing for the 3595 upright vacuum. Called Bissell and they say I have to be an authorized dealer to get "internal" parts and called their "authorozed dealer" and they told me they cannot get the part and I needed a new motor...ridiculous! Anyone put a bearing on these and if so where did you get it from?

I also have a Hoover upright and I need to replace the electrical cord. I have dimantled the back, where the tools are stored, and the hose. I still cannot find the screws or whatever, to get to the area behind the cord, so I can replace it. I think I will have to take off the bottom too. Has anyone out there tried to do this? It seems crazy. This machine works great so I hope I can also put it back together. Thanks for the help.

I have a window fan with two fans in it & I cannot get the cover or back off so I can clean it. I* have taken all the screws out that I can get to , but there are two clamps that I can't get off, I'm not sure why the clamps are there but they are on the side with the accordian extention. Please tell me how to get it apart - after 2 years it is really filthy!! Thank you, Janet

Remove all the screws, pry clips off that hold on the extensions, than fan will pull apart. The clips must be pried off. They will not break. Then remove screws holding in the fans and remove them as well. Fairly simple process. ... Vacuums
