Having problems with your Polti Vacuums ?

Polti 2400 I am trying to remove the casing from the steam cleaner to fit a replacement wheel. The screws holding the casing are similar to torx but they have a raised centre which means they can't accommodate a torx screwdriver. I thought this was going to be easy just replacing a snap-in wheel!

I want to open a Hoover S3825 Elite Cyclonic Vacuum to see if I can repair or replace the cord reel assembly. Currently the reel slowly draws the cord back into the canister once it is pulled out. I found the mounting screws under the rear wheels once I removed the hub but I do not know how to remove the rear wheels, everything is plastic. The front screws are under the front caster wheels and I think I need to take a screwdriver and pry off the little cylinder wheel to get to them by rotating

I have had pfaff 1037 tipmatic machine since 1999. Have been servicing it regularly. Unfortunately, the wheel, which you loosen when filling the bobbin with thread, has broken. I mean the screw which holds the spring has broken. Where can I get a spare part. I asked for the whole machine photograph so that I can tell you exactly which part I mean as unfortunately I do not have a manual for this model.

My Dyson DC07 has recently been service and was making a clattering noise and very hard to push. We have taken it back and he has changed the clutch mechanism under the base which has solved the clattering, but it is still really hard to push because of the suction. It is even lifting the carpet in one room. Can you tell me what the possible reasons for this could be? One thought we had was that the little rubber wheels on the bottom cover could have worn so the hoover is closer to the floor

Bought today a used rca rp3721a clock radio without the manual. need user manual to adjust all the settings, for example TIME, ALARM TIME, ALARM ON AND OFF, radio or "beeper" alarm on, entire unit on and off without unplugging it from shore power, and anything I haven't thought of up to here. The unit is RCA Model RP3721A clock radio, and appears to be functional. Our problem seems to be "the nut behind the wheel". e-mail: [email protected]

My dc 05 isnt working and i cant understand why , i have cleaned all filters etc and i also changed the fuse on the plug , which after i didi that it attempted to start but then jus cut out again so i thought the fuse had blown again , so i checked the fuse but its working fine could there still be a blockage somewhere in it or is it something electrical which means my dyson has to go to the dump :(

Most common cause of this problem is a wire broken inside the flex, usually either just where it leaves the plug (easy to fix) or at the other end (more of a problem). I have an Eureka Express canister vacuum - I believe it's model 8284 - that just stopped working. Plug it in, turn it on, and absolutely nothing happens. I took it to the local sew and vac place and they say it's a circuit board that is no longer available. I've looked at all the parts lists and diagrams for that vacuum and I would swear there isn't a circuit board there. (I wouldn't have even thought that in 1989 they would have used circuits.) I have the Eureka 4870 "The Boss" Smart Vac. The beater bar began to turn constantly and can't be shut by moving the Brush Roll Contol to Bare Floor position or the machine to the upright postion. It has also eaten two new belts. Hi. We've got a Dyson DC17 "Animal". It's clogged, and we are unable to separate the purple cyclone cap from the main cyclone body to get to the problem. We've heard of 4 torx screws that take some interesting tactics to access. I've been through this thing with a flashlight, and torx tools for a protracted period, and even after removing the torx screws was unable to ultimately separate the two pieces (main body from purple cap assembly). Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanx -
