November 2008 I bought a Simac Stirella 9000D steam generator iron. Recently its been leaking water out the bottom of the regenerator. It makes a noise when it is trying to get the steam to the iron and it works then but afterwards when the noise stops it stops steaming and I find a puddle of water underneath the regenerator. Also a little steam comes out of the water tank at the top. I understand this is happening because of scale in the base unit. Can I get something to get rid of the scale? -

I have a Polti Vaporetto Lecoaspira 710. I have filled the tank and set the machine up as usual. When I turn it on the boiler pump runs continuously for a minute or so and then the 'beep' begins and the machine shows that the boiler is empty. Obviously the water is not getting through. We don't live in a hard water area so it shouldn't be 'limed -up'. The manual says to leave it to cool down and then try again. That had no effect. The only answer that Polti 'Service' could give me was to try 'G

We have a Bissell Proheat 2X (model 8920). The problem we are having is when water/soap is initially released (all settings) it continues to leak out the front water spray nozzles unit the water containers are empty. The vacuum works but can't keep up with the continuous water leaking out. Do you have any idea what is sticking open to allow the continued release of water when the machine is running? Thanks Rick

Return it. It is faulty and should not do that. Mine does not. Does require changing water about evrery 10 minutes but one can see the filth in the water. Also re-clean with plain water over areas that were cleaned to remove all cleaner. Old cleaner ... Bissell 8920 ProHeat 2XTM Upright Vacuum

The Lower body of the Bissell QuickSteamer, water pours out from the body. Solution: I took apart the machine and there is a spring loaded valve with a rubber washer at the bottom. Think of the letter T upside down with the rubber washer on it. The washer stretches over the bottom and the spring creates a leakproof plug and won't allow water to pass till the button on the handle is pressed. This old washer came partially off and allowed water to leak. I purchased from the plumbing dept. a mi

When I fill the tank and turn it on the water seems to just leak from the bottom so I have only been half filling it and then the water light comes on within 2 mins of when steam starts to appear.
