Having problems with your Rainbow E series Canister Wet/Dry Vacuum ?

Rainbow Series E is leaking. Not sure if water is leaking from the water bin (doesn't appear to be cracked/broken). If not the bin, where else might water be leaking from and what are repair options? Have replaced belt on carpet attachment, cleaned the opening where hoses attach to the canister, etc

Answers :

You need to clean the separator.
My dirt devil starts leaking water from where the water sprays out of the bottom as soon as the machine is plugged in. I have checked for cracks or any reason why the water would come out without squeezing the trigger and I can't find anything that is wrong. I have to remove the tank after a wet the carpet are that needs cleaned. It takes more time inserting and removing the water tank, but it is less clean up. The best way to explain my issue is that the pin is stuck to where it pushes the rubber piece up and allows water to pour out the bottom. How can I fix this problem? It seems like it would be an easy fix but I'm afraid to make it worse. I've always had the worst luck with anything that has a motor or takes batteries. Can anyone please help me with this problem?

I have a Royal 7910 extractor and even though I vacuum before cleaning the carpet, by black cocker spaniel's hair gets pulled into the plastic pick-up attachment and I cannot find an easy way to clean it out. I have tried taking the screws out to separate the halves, but it seems as though they might be glues together. I have run water from a sink sprayer though the openings with some degree of success, but it still is pretty cruddy. I have tried snaking pipe smokers pipe cleaners up the pick

I have the Hoover max Extract 77 and when I'm cleaning the carpet, the clean water tank leaks on the floor, even if I'm not squeezing the trigger. The clean tank doesn't leak when I fill it, but once I place it where it fits and start using the vacuum, the clean water drains out on the floor. The dirty tank fills up, so the suction works, but, I don't know what is going on?

Brush Roll belt stops turning durring vacuuming on WindTunnel self-propelled, v belt is a little loose with handle down. Tensioning roll is engaged OK, but fully at the end of its travel. Replaced belts flat and v, but still stops turning even on high carpet setting when vacuuming. Carpet setting and height adjustment appears to be working OK, roll is clean and turns easily when out. Also turns easily until it engages the carpet. Self propel function works just fine.

My dyson vacuum cleaner doesn't seem to have the same suction power it used to. I have cleaned out the canister and have taken apart the vacuum head (for cleaning carpets) and it doesn't seem to be blocked but it seems to lose suction by the time it reaches the head. The suction is strong at the end of the hose (where you attach the telescopic attachment with vacuum head) Any ideas? Thanks, Irene

I have a hayward 1HP superpump with an Ao Smith UST 1102 motor on it. Last year I had a leak in the pump, and I believe I got some water in the bearings of the motor. Over the winter I replaced all the seals in the pump, and have no leaks this year, but the pump is sounding pretty loud since opening the pool this year. Dyson DC 14 hose has no suction, with or without brush attachments. Hot air shoots out from the base of the canister when I try to use the hose.
