Sometimes the sepatator can get stuck on the Rainbow. Take a small flat screw driver and get under the outer lip of the separator and just pop it off.

Shopvac 90L400 quit working (4 years old). Thought the switch was bad but not the problem. I read that there is a fuse link in the motor that frequently burns up. I have a Necchi LYdia 3 machine type 544 The motor was overheating and I removed the bottom cover and examined the motor .It looked fine and ran well. The pump motor in my Bissel Proheat 2x Plus seems to have failed. It was seized so I sprayed WD-40 in it and let it sit for 3 days. Motor/Fan does not run. I have removed and taken the top of the canister plastic motor housing apart and tested for power. I have power through the cord to the switch and power from the switch to the two wire terminals. I have not removed the motor. Looks like I will need special tools to take out the motor. The Vac looks almost new. It has been setting for several years. What do you think?

My infinity vac NV29 seems to have an extension wand stuck down in then tube and I am not able to get it out. I have a new Hoover BH50015 hand vac. The noise is terrible. It sounds like the bearing are bad. Hi. We've got a Dyson DC17 "Animal". It's clogged, and we are unable to separate the purple cyclone cap from the main cyclone body to get to the problem. We've heard of 4 torx screws that take some interesting tactics to access. I've been through this thing with a flashlight, and torx tools for a protracted period, and even after removing the torx screws was unable to ultimately separate the two pieces (main body from purple cap assembly).
