Ran my Rainbow SE (1996 model)without separator

\015 I ran my Rainbow SE (1996 model)without the separator on it...vacuumed a 10x12 room and when I moved to the hallway the canister smelled like something was burning. I shut it off and lifted the motor unit off and discovered my mistake. I let it cool for several hours and put the separator and nut on but as soon as I turned it on I smelled something burning. I printed out instructions on how to dismantle it, but what part did I most likely damage?\015

My Rainbow SE vacuum was working fine until I ran over the edge of a rug and it went in to the nozzle. I immediately switched the vacuum off and proceeded to move the rug. When I tried to turn the Rainbow back on the brush was no longer spinning. I've tried the reset button and checking the nozzle for any debris, there are none. The brush just won't spin.

I have a Rainbow E series. The separator is broken. I removed the acron nut but the separator won't come off. Is it ok to pry it off from bottom?

It's ok to pry on it if you're careful. Tap it too, use a screwdriver handle and just go around it and tap judiciously. When you're prying, be sure that if something is going to break it's the separator and not the machine housing.Clean t ... Rainbow E series Canister Wet/Dry Vacuum

Hi I own a Bissell Proheat Powersteamer pro-tech with a turbobrush. I have been using "bissell multi-allergen removal formula for carpets and upholstery." I ran out of that last night. Today I went to walmart looking for more. Everything I found said "2x Ultra Concentrated Bissell multi-allergen." I'm confused on where to add the cleaner.
