Having problems with your Roomba Robotic Floor Bagless Vacuum ?

For my roomba 540 the dock station light is on. To dock the roomba goes towards the dock but when it reaches the dock tries to find the metal contacts, goes over them but is unable to dock. It used to dock fine. I did open the roomba to check its battery but I think it still worked after I opened it.

I have a 1/2hp master mechanic door opener. when I close the door it goes the full travel down and then opens back up. i checked the eyes and everything was lined up. do you have any suggestions?

Look at the setting for "fully closed". it sounds like yours is set for slightly than the actual opening....So, the door reaches that location, and it thinks it hit an obstruction, which causes the door to open....While you are there, reset the sensi ... Vacuums

The clean light on the Roomba 520 doesn't quit blinking even when it has been docked for hours, i checked all the plugs and i also pushed the spot button for 10 seconds. it is a a slow continual blink as if it is recharging continually. what is the problem.

Sounds like you didn't remove the batteries protective tape. If this isn't a new roomba, your problem may be the charging cycle. For a brief video of what to do click the link below.http://irobot-homesupport-en-eu.custhelp.com/app/answers ... iRobot Roomba 530 Robotic Vacuum

Roomba appears to be working fine, goes over the whole house with no trouble, but then house is still dirty and no dirt is in his dirt bin.

Kirby Seems like you know alot about the Kirby. I know how to use my Sentria (unlike these other idiots) but I keep screwing up the shampoo tray assembly. The brush snaps into the tray just fine but the tray doesn't really stick to the head. It detaches when pushing and pulling the unit. And who knows where that cover goes? It say 'push here to open'

Not sucking We have an Oreck XL and today it is blowing out dust instead of sucking it up. I just replaced the belt and about 6 months ago, we took it to our Oreck dealer and had it rehauled. I opened it up to check all and it all looked fine. Then I tuned on the machine while unzipped and noticed that the bad does not inflate as it used to. What can I do? Thanks, Connie [email protected]

You probable have a clog in the handle tube, or at the bottom, either by the brush or in the neck where the handle goes into. Unscrew that big black nut and pull the handle off of the bootom asm, then you can check it out and see where the clog is. ... Vacuums

Suction Problem I took my unit to my work and used it, when I returned home it wouldn't suck up anything. I took the recovery take out and it has inward suction. Shouldn't that be outward, so it goes into the tank? It also blows out of the bottom by the brushes. I check the filter in the bottom and that is fine. Is it possible that it is somehow reversed the direction of the air flow (rotor running backwards)? I am perplexed. What am I missing?

There is a stand pipe seal where the bucket sits on, and if it isn't there or out of place could cause a suction problem like you said yours is doing. In the picture it is #10. The motor seal may have gone bad and is leaking # 15.\015\012 ... Hoover F7220900 SteamVac V2 Upright Vacuum

Kenmore 21875 One day it's working fine. Next day, it won't turn on. When I attach the hose to another vacuum cleaner, it runs. Is there a reset button on the canister? Could it be the receptacle is bad? My Kenmore Progressive won't turn on today either -but was fine last week. I cleaned the filters checked for blocked air, tried a different outlet and no luck. I'll check the pins on the connections and see if one of them is not matching up or appears worn.

I have a Roomba Discovery. In the past, I had to replace the charging dock. Then the battery died so I did not use it for two years. I finally bought a new battery and used the Roomba. My Dyson DC17 beater bar motor works intermittedly. I have to almost whack it on the floor to turn it on and then shuts off again. I have checked the belt and it is fine, also have checked for blockages. The switch to turn the beater bar on or off will not work when the beater bar motor is off. the suction is fine though.

My electrolux ambassador power wand quit working. I replaced the switch that shuts it off when the roller stops, but it wasn't the problem. The on/off switch is fine, the motor is fine.
