I have a Roomba Discovery. In the past, I had to replace the charging dock. Then the battery died so I did not use it for two years. I finally bought a new battery and used the Roomba. It worked great. It did not find the docking station, and died. I have been charging it and the red light pulsates, but after 16 hours, it still is not charged...any ideas?

I have a multifunction robotic auto vacuum cleaner model number XR210. It doesn't seem to be charging when at the docking station. For my roomba 540 the dock station light is on. To dock the roomba goes towards the dock but when it reaches the dock tries to find the metal contacts, goes over them but is unable to dock. It used to dock fine. I did open the roomba to check its battery but I think it still worked after I opened it.

Roomba goes in a circle moves about 5 inches and then turns in a circle again. It won't dock or go any farther than a few inches before turning in a circle again.
