Having problems with your Royal Procision 3050 Bagged Canister Vacuum ?

Inop powerhead, low voltage found.

\015 Powerhead inop. Only 14 VAC coming out of canister connector. All wiring in head and hose ohm out properly. Shouldn't this be 120 VAC all the way to the head? All parts inside the head are rated for this, and if it is and it's only getting 14 that would definitely cause an inop head. Any help appreciated, this thing has been a headache since day one.\015

Answers :

Should be 120 volts to power supply then 12-14 from power supply to main circuit board. and all of it's components and motor.
If you have 120v at the tank end and 14V at the connector for the power brush, your hose cord or, electric hose is bad. You should have 120v at ALL connections.

I am currently unsure, it my Dyson DC16 battery is charging as it should. I read all the posts about Powersupply voltage of 28V and defective PCBs. I now need to know from someone who's DC16 is working properly what voltage the battery should have when it is charged. I currently only measure 24.2V in mine. Supposing there are 6 batteries in there with nominal 3.6 voltage each, which would add up to 21.6, I supposed one could charge with up to 25.2V (4.2*6) and once reach lower the voltage ke

I have a Filter Queen Majestic 360 and am having problems with the powerhead. There is a loud rattling noise in the powerhead, especially when I vacuum thicker carpet. I have replaced the motor, roller brush, and belt, but the rattling remains. It sounds like it is coming from the roller brush area, and when I turn the powerhead over, it rolls free and sounds fine. Any thoughts?

Hi there, as per your information i guess its a problem of power transformer. He can't supply the proper power in the motor & thats why the noise will come from the transformer. Thanks & waiting for your feedback. ... Filter Queen Majestic Canister Vacuum
