Having problems with your Royal Vacuums ?

I have a model # 880 Royal upright that the brush roller ends are bad. Can I get replacements for these? They have the 1/2 in. square ends. What about replacement for the whole roller assembly. The brushes are fairly well worn. Thanks, Arthur Summers

The below site sells the rollers for some models. I'm not sure about yours. The second one, part number R-673273, may fit. Check your brush for a part number.

Bissell 6595 problems with roller brush. I've had this happen with two of the same model. Each one didn't last more than seven months! First, it became loud when vacuuming, then there was a burning smell. When you try to replace the belt, you see that won't do any good because the fitted end of the brush is melted. The housing part the roller brush fits into is melted too. There's no place for the roller brush to fit into. I tried to upload pics, because I don't see how replacing the roller brus

I replaced the belt on my Dirt Devil Featherlite Bagless Vacuum and the brush roller rubs and makes a very loud noise when turned on. I have gone exactly by the manual instructions and made sure the belt and end caps were on correctly, but the bristles still rub the back and it makes a very loud noise. Without the brush roller in the vacuum, it sounds and runs normal. What could the problem be?

Last night as I was vacuuming, I noticed that the belt stop indicator light was on. I pulled out the hair that had gotten tangled around the brush in hopes of solving the problem.
