Having problems with your Samsung Vacuums ?

I have an Air Track plus vacuum cleaner and something has got stuck between the flexible part of the hose and the solid black section at the end. I tried to put a coin down to clear it but that has got stuck too. It looks like the rigid section should come apart (a small notch each side) but I can't figure how to do this.

My dyson turns on but when i push it to vacuum it makes this awful sound like something got sucked up and caught. i turn it off and turn it over and nothing is stuck. My husband even looked at it and he thinks it's the belt. The belt doesn't turn as loose. Please help.

Hi, The dirt does not **** into the canister. It looks like the cyclone system is not working. I think something is stuck inside. How do you recommend to fix it? Thank you for all your advice. Fiona

There is no vacuum action on your set. So as you mentiioned there is little or no suction available which means that the pump is not working correct. Pfaff Creative 1459. When trying to wind a bobbin, I do what I've always done, turn the small round "wheel" on the right, slide the bobbing into the little knob that keeps it in place and gently press the foot thing on the floor that should start the bobbing to winding. The bobbin does not turn at all causing a loud whirring sound and the needle goes up and down as if it were making stitches. I finally got some thread onto the bobbin but it is not smooth and looks like a spider. I really nee

My Dyson DC25 animal is having issues. I believe everything is working correctly except I have realized that the mechanism which switches the hose/valve between the wand and the vacuum head isn't working properly. The two gear pieces that move the hose placement aren't close enough together, so they don't work together. It looks like there is a washer that I could potentially remove on the clear gear piece which would allow it to sit closer to the assembly. Would that work? Currently I am

I have a cannister (Animal something...) Today, it didn't sound right - like a blockage. I took out the filter - seemed OK; I looked for a blockage - found none. I continued to vacuum, but it wasn't picking up. Then, I stopped again, and I found a blockage (cat toy mouse) right at the end of the hose (attachment end.) I cleared, and I turned back on - nothing. Completely dead. It is one year old, just about exactly. Desperate, Sharon Tracy

Hello,if your canister is completely dead, then it means its having a power problem. You need to focus your attention on that part of your canister that relates to power. Such as; power wire, if you don see any fault with the power cord, ... Dyson Vacuums

On the piece that covers the brushbar and motor (the clear plastic piece that has the dyson logo), it looks like a small plastic ridge that holds the cap for the brushbar snapped off. Would too much wobbling of the brushbar cause it to turn on and off? The switch seems fine.

In theory, yes. If the brushbar isn't held firmly, then the belt isn't running smoothly which puts more strain on the motor. This can cause the motor to get hot very quickly which will trip the thermal overload protection. \015\012\015\01 ... Dyson DC15 All Floors - The Ball Bagless Upright Cyclonic Vacuum

I have an old Progressive vacuum cleaner that says "Hepa Filter" and "Whisper Belt". Not sure what the model # is. The problem is that the vacuum part itself (the part that touches the floor and rolls over) has ejected its filter that we can see through the little window- it just came out under the rollers under the device... we cannot see how to re-insert this piece of filter which looks like a kind of round, flat grey foam/fabric and clearly goes inside- (top of the part that touches the flo

When I vacuum w/ the brush control in the on position it make a really loud noise, almost like a grinding sound. I have looked at it and nothing seems to be wrong, but I notice that the pin that engages the belt seems to vibrate a bit, possibly creating the noise. It started when I accidentally got part of a plastic grocery bag caught in the brush. Could it have stretched a belt? Nothing is caught any other place and it only makes the noise when the brush in in the on position.

Yes, the belt could have been stretched and is now vibrating and hitting other parts and creating a noise if much of the bag got caught under the belt.
