My steamer will not spray out steam . Help - Scunci 52067 Handheld Steam Vacuum

There are different possible solution to your problems. You might figure it out by yourself when you follow these instruction.

1. A build-up or clogged in your steamer resulted from the minerals deposit in your steamer. These are possible solutions (a) clogged with rust or limescale - try a limescale\015\012remover in distilled water such as Calgon limescale remover. Fill the\015\012kettle as normal and give it time to boil up. Then release the steam as\015\012you would normally. You may find that the kettle will spurt out\015\012deposits of gunk. (b) clogged sprayer - put some vinegar and mix it with mineral water and let it set for a day.

2. A build up or corrossion in the brass button. Take the steamer apart.
Remove screw, take off cover. Pull up rubber ring around hole. Remove 2 screws.\015\012Remove 2 screws on front round spout. Remove round spout ring. Lift up\015\012on black piece on top with trigger attatched..Now you see what the\015\012trigger pushes against. It is a little brass knob. That knob is a shaft\015\012that goes through the hole you fill in; and then has a spring on the\015\012nozzle end if you would look in the nozzle hole. Spray limeaway on\015\012the brass knob end. Then spray Limeaway in the nozzle end where the\015\012spring is If you look in the filler hole; you will see the rod going\015\012across it. Spray limeaway onto the rod where it goes back through\015\012the metal to the brass side. You might have to hold the scunci sideways so the Limeaway can work. Put the Limeaway in a small dish and used a\015\012qtip to saturate the rod. Let this soak a few minuites. Then hit the\015\012brass knob end with a childs hammer. This will force the knob (rod) to\015\012gointo the metal holding it. Then I went on the spout end a used the\015\012end of a tooth brush as a rod to pound the rod back in the other\015\012direction. Try this tapping n both directions a few times. Keep adding\015\012Limeaway to the shaft on both ends.Rod will be loosed\015\012and just using your finger you could push the button very easy. Seems my\015\012water is very hard and causes calcium to build up from the steam.

Good luck
Alp
Make sure the connections are good with the power cord connected to the terminals, if so the steamer should work, If with the heating coils then the continuity must be checked or else an open connection means that the coils is open and should be changed.
\015\012However there are many steamers having only the plates on the water on the two mains wires that.heat up water with a conduction of the water. make sure the plates are clean so that the conductivity is good and steeam is produced.
