Having problems with your Sebo X4 Bagged Upright Vacuum ?

Hi we seem to have a problem with our Sebo .When in use as you draw the hoover back and forth seems to become very heavy to push as if the suction is becoming stronger. PLease can you advise. Mary

Answers :

As you know, your Sebo automatically adjusts its brush height according to the type of floor it's on. At the correct brush height, on carpet, the machine should almost pull itself forwards. If this is not happening, the first thing to check is to look and see if the bristles on the brush roller are very worn (bristles on a new roller will almost entirely fill the available space). If they are worn, a new roller will almost certainly solve the problem. If the problem persists, the automatic height control mechanism may have failed (possible but very unusual) and a professional repair will be necessary. You may notice that I haven't even mentioned the possibility that one of the belts may have broken (in which case the brush roller will not be rotating at all) - because of the machine's excellent design, broken belts are almost unknown (they can last for 15 years and more) but not completely impossible.\015\012
\015\012My message in a nutshell: look to the brush roller first. If a new one doesn't solve the problem, go to a professional repairer.\015\012

My Windsor Versamatic plus has all of the sudden become very hard to push. I maintain this vaccum very well. It picks up fine, just to heavy tp push apparently

I can't get the latch that connects to the brush head to engage. Thus the vacumn is extremely hard to push. It has suction, extreme suction. Rollers appear to be dragging. I've tried to remove and reinstall the head several times but cannot seem to get the latch to engage. Please advise.

Dc07 problem I have a dc07 cyclonic vaccum and like this model, however, for some reason,it has been very dificult to push and pull for the past month or so. i have completely cleaned the brush assembly, cleared any obstructions in the hoses, and, cleaned the filter.I also checked the belt tension, wich i thought was fine but to no avail.Be advised that the brush assembly is spinning and suction is excellent. It just feels like the brush drags along the carpeting. this is a great vacuum cleaner and

I have a Eureka Mega Boss Central Vac Model # CV1801P. The suction works when the handle button is pushed left (floor mode) but no suction happens when the button is pushed right. When the floor attachment is hooked up and the button is pushed right, the brush rotates, but there is no suction.

The suction is good, but it can't pick up most of the stuff on the floor. The hand held hose works very well, but it doesn't even pick up little fuzzies reliably when I push it along. And, the suction is too hard I think because it used to push easily and now I have to push really hard, even on flat carpet.

Check entire length of hose, including the piece in the power head, for clogs. Simply drop a marble in one end and allow it to roll out the other. If it doesn't, then the hose is clogged somewhere. ... Dyson DCO7 Animal Bagless Upright Cyclonic Vacuum

No suction I have the central vac type. It has no suction at the can. I pulled the hose going to the walls and tested there...and nothing. I removed the dirt can and checked the motor ...it is spinning but does not feel like any suction. I checked the exhaust and it is pushing strong air out. I also cleaned the filter and still nothing. Is there a relay or something that would cause only exhaust air. I emptied the can of dirt and put it back together and have absolutely no air.....hear the motor

My Dyson DC07 has recently been service and was making a clattering noise and very hard to push. We have taken it back and he has changed the clutch mechanism under the base which has solved the clattering, but it is still really hard to push because of the suction. It is even lifting the carpet in one room. Can you tell me what the possible reasons for this could be? One thought we had was that the little rubber wheels on the bottom cover could have worn so the hoover is closer to the floor

On the sole plate you should have 5 little wheels, these are prone to jamming after a while. You should make sure these are not jammed in anyway.\012\012You can release these with a screwdriver, but be careful not to prize too hard as you ... Dyson DC07 Bagless Upright Cyclonic Vacuum
