I mean the screw which holds the spring has broken. Where can I get a spare part. I asked for the whole machine photograph so that I can tell you exactly which part I mean as unfortunately I do not have a manual for this model.

I am replacing a foot pedal on an upright Sharp vacuum cleaner-EC-TU2607. I have the broken foot pedal removed from vacuum cleaner proper but it is the removal of the broken pedal from its spring load that has me puzzled. I applied some pulling effort on the pin that holds the spring in place but there doesn't seem to be any give. Is that the correct approach or is there something else that one should be doing first to release some of the resistance by the pin or spring? Thanks!

I have the Eureka 4870 "The Boss" Smart Vac. The beater bar began to turn constantly and can't be shut by moving the Brush Roll Contol to Bare Floor position or the machine to the upright postion. It has also eaten two new belts. A local tech says he has seen this problem whereby the free-wheel assembly that makes contact with the belt to engage the beater bar is misalgned and cannot disengage. It is usually the chassis which would mean replacement of enough parts that would not be worthwhile

My machine (Hoover Wind Tunnel - bagless) is only 1 yr. old. The agitator brush doesn't turn all the time. I know it's not supposed to turn when in the upright position. However, it only seems to work when I have the setting on high. When I stop, but have not put the machine in the upright position, it stops again and then slowly starts moving. Could the V-belt be worn out already? In the owner's manual it states that this belt is not normally replaced. The exact same thing happened with my old

Sounds like you should do two things:\015\0121- Remove and clean the beater brush of all debris as best you can. On-off switch My problem is finding a source for an on-off switch for an electrolux vacuum sweeper model 2100. I have replaced the broken toggle and now the sweeper turns on but only as long as the outside button is depressed. It appears that the on-off switch itself is broken as the switch does not ''hold'' when the toggle is activated. It seems to return to it's ''off'' setting as soon as the toggle is released. What ''holds'' the switch in its ''on'' position? Does it depend only on the on-

I have a Hoover Windtunnel Farrington upright model U6431-900 It has worked flawlessly until last week. The roller brush has stopped turning and I believe it is the belt that has broken but I am not sure how to remove the cover to inspect it and replace the belt if that is the problem. Hi, I have a Sebo X4 which is almost 3 years old. I haven't had any problems with it until the last couple of days when I notice a slight screeching noise when in upright position, coming from the roller mechanism area.
