I havea Bissell ProHeat Model 7901. My problem is that the brush doesn't rotate. I have removed the access cover and both belts and found that the central cylinder for both belts is frozen and will not turn easily. The brush is not moving on the vaccume. I'm pretty sure that the belt is busted. I cannot see how to get the shroud off, so that I can get to the roller and belt. I know on my Eureka I had to remove a couple of screws on the bottom and then get a flat blade screwdriver and wedge it on each side of the base kinda next where the end of the roller would be and it snaps up and off. Hi, There is a high pitched whirring sound coming from lower part of the vacuum. When I tilt it toward me (while standing in the normal vacuuming stance) the sound sometimes lessens for a minute or so. I have tried the following things: -cleaned the two sponge filters -emptied the dirt receptacle -removed the roller and cleaned it -cleaned the brushes -the belt is not ragged and does not seem floppy -checked all of the airways for clogs (including removing the wheel base) Can you help?
