No Power to Windsor Sensor XP12

\015 My company's windsor sensor xp12 has no power getting to it and I have changed the bag, cleaned all filters and beater brush to no avail. Can you help me? The vacuum is barely a year old. Could it be a fuse, and if so, where would I find it?\015

Answers :

The Windsor Sensor vacs all have a removable handle.
\015\012The handle is inserted into a "socket" which has contacts to complete the electrical circuit.
\015\012The handle is held in place by a gray plastic lever.
\015\012If the lever is not pressed down completely, the handle is able to slide within the socket during regular use.
\015\012If the handle slides out far enough, the electrical connection within will be disconnected and the vac will have no power.
\015\012Simply lift the lever, pull up to remove the handle, and re-insert the handle fully, then press down firmly on the lever to lock the handle securely in place.
\015\012This is the first step to solve your problem and hopefully this is all that need to be done.
\015\012If this does not work, please repost here and I will help you all I can.
\015\012Note: I am a big fan of the Windsor Sensor vacs and find them to be easy to work on and a great vac all around!
Replacee the cord or only the head cord.

My Windsor Sensor XP12 says the bag is full when it's not. I have removed the hose, brush, and filter and cleaned everything. I can put a bag on without the cover and it works great. However, when I add the bag to the front cover and close the latch the right way, it does not work.
