Having problems with your Windsor SR12 Sensor Bagged Upright Vacuum ?

How do you change the belt on a winsor sensor s12?

\015 I'm not sure how to check or change the belt on a Windsor Sensor S12 upright sweeper?\015

Answers :

Step 1. Remove the vacuum bag housing so that you are only working with the power nozzle or the bottom portion of your Sebo, this will make it much easier to work with. Turn the vacuum upside down, and remove only the 5 screws that I have circled in red:

\015\012Step 2. After removing the screws on the bottom of the vacuum cleaner, separate the top housing from the lower agitator housing, sometimes it may take putting a flat head screw driver in between the white and grey colored housing and prying them apart.
\015\012
\015\012Step 3. You now have full access to the belts on your machine. It's most likely the belt that wraps around the brush gear rather then the belt that's attached to the motor that's gone bad. I have never replaced the motor belt in 8 years of servicing Windsor vacuums.

\015\012If you have any further questions on how to replace the belt, please feel free to reply to this repair by leaving your question in the comment section, I'm always more then happy to answer any question you may have.

I have a Windsor Sensor s12 and power shuts off after 5 min. of vacuuming. I'm wondering if it's overheating of if there is some other sensor that causes it to shut off.

Chain tensioner Is it possible to change the chain tensioner of the Husqvarna 240 to a tool less chain tensioner or at least to the chain tensioner where the adjustment screw is accessed from the side not from the front. The problem is that there is a little plastic part that breaks rendering the chain tensioner useless. I have changed it twice and it keeps breaking. To change it you have to change the whole part that covers the break and chain mechanism.

I have a VAX V12 vacuum cleaner which suddenly stopped. The smell indicated Carbon Brush Problems. I contacted a service agent who told me that it was not possible to change the Carbon Brushes brushes on this model and they would need to change the Motor Unit.. To me this sounds very unlikely. Two questions please. Is it possible to change the Carbon Brushes and how do I get the cabinet apart which looks very difficult. I am well qualified electrically to do this job. Regards James Beech
