Having problems with your Vacuums ?
My mixer started chugging at the higher speeds, blowing out fine dust out the top of mixer
Your mixer has a build up in the motor of all the goodies you've prepared. If you feel qualified, unplug your mixer and use a DRY, stiff bristle brush to gently dislodge the particles. A dry toothpick can also be use to dislodge. Once you feel you've gotten most of the powdery gunk loose, turn the mixer upside down and tap it gently to allow all the gunk to fall out. Then plug it in, turn it on high and let the fan do it's work to blow all the stuff out. It this doesn't work, you'll need to take it to an applliance repair store to have it cleaned professionally.

It has no suction. It was fine yesterday. I washed the dirt container and the filter, let it dry and put it back in the vacuum. Today my vacuum isnt picking up any dirt and has no suction. When I took the hose out of the back, it started blowing dust and dirt out but still no suction.

Miele S318i worked ok till I took it apart to blow really fine ceiling "popcorn" dust that got sucked by the filters. When I plugged back in started for a milli second and quit. At this point I believe the circuit board might be the fault, but I want to test motor before I go and buy the part. Can I simply run 110 to the two moter contacts to bench test? Steve

I just bought a foldaway hoover with wide path. I plugged it in and started to vacuum and dust flew everywhere. Walmart would not give me my money back so they gave me another hoover foldaway with the wide path. I thought this one might work. This one does the same thing. It blows dust out the sides and you can't vacuum with it. Any help would be great.
Your Vac probably does not have a filter installed inside the unit, that is why fine dust escapes through the vents. Remove the dirt canister/cup from the unit and you will see a filter frame behind. Hello, we have a Miele cat and dog turbo 5000 vacuum cleaner which we bought in December. It has just started blowing air out of the grid on the top of the cleaner instead of sucking from the tube. The whole top section which is opened to change the bags doesn't seem to want to clip down properly either. Do you have any ideas> I'm gutted as it was so good until this happened. Thanks Michelle.
The lid not closing properly is almost certainly the cause of your problem. Without that lid sealed tight to the body you will get no suction through the hose. So, the question is: why isn't the lid clipping down properly? Did you just change the bag ... Vacuums
