Troubleshooting I am trying to reverse the flow to "**** up" dust from drywalling. How do I do that?
Plug the hose into the other side of the unit. One end pushes air and the other side draws in the air. Now drywall dust will clog your filter quickly. Clean the filter often. Do not clean dust without the filter. It will get all over everything!

Bissell Pro Heat 7901 will spay through hose but not the floor and red flow indicator will not spin. So we took the housing off and after unclogging a hose running to the hearter, my husband unhooked the hose that goes to the flow indicator, blew in it and it started spinning. Put the deep cleaner back together, tried to use it and nothing. What else can we try? Can't afford to put it in the shop right now. Thanks in advance.
I borrowed my friends bissell to clean my carpet. It's the 7901. He brought it over and told me that it only sprayed out of the attachment hose. He said he couldn't figure out what was wrong. ** suction The best way to describe it is that when I was vacuuming I could see dust clouds at the front of the vacuum where the light is swirling around in the air. It was like it was blowing dust around instead of picking it up. I checked the tubing and found that it was clogged with some paper and hair ***** etc.... So I cleaned it out and tried it again and it still was not picking up properly. I had my husband take all the tubing apart to check for other clogging and there was none. When I

After a brief power outage my Marantec 4700 garage door opener has problems opening/closing. When opening it stops at the fully open position and the lights blink, when closing it automatically reverses just as it fully closes and then the lights start to blink again. I checked for obstructions and tried to reset the limits of travel per the manual, it still does the same thing. Any ideas on what to try next?

My Jacuzzi Tracker 4x just "stopped"..there is a nice strong flow of water going into it, but the wheels just aren't turning. I've tried the following to no avail: 1. blocked suction for a few seconds underwater with my hand (this has worked in past) 2. try to move front wheels back and forth (but they won't budge...back wheels do move on track though) Should I start taking it apart?
When I try to disconnect the hose in order to use the hand held hose with an attachment, the dust from the bottom flies into the air. How does this opening get blocked off to ensure the dust enters through the attachment and not the bottom?
It is a matter of Physics. It seems like you have it running when you change the hose. ?? That's a no-no.Basically you will have o take it apart until you know how it works or wont work ... Bissell Vacuums
Faithful Sebo X1 upright, about 12 years old, stopped working today. I replaced old with new dust bag, checked all dust paths were clear, checked main brush was clear/clean, and drive spindle rotated OK with fingers. When power switched on, the two red indicators briefly flash on then off, but nothing more happens, motor does not start - even with power reaching machine. Tried removing all consumables, refitting and turning on a few times to reset, no joy. Removed base cover, both belts were i

My electrolux oxygen canister cuts on and off. I have to open and close the vacuum, or take the base of the hose off and then re-insert. I have to do all these things before it will start up again. I sometimes shake the hose around, then it will come back on. If I try to dust with the dust brush (like a lamp shade or shelf) and the suction pulls against the object, the vacuum goes off for awhile. Sometimes I'll have to reset the vacuum by unplugging the electric cord. I never get to finis

Suction Problem I took my unit to my work and used it, when I returned home it wouldn't suck up anything. I took the recovery take out and it has inward suction. Shouldn't that be outward, so it goes into the tank? It also blows out of the bottom by the brushes. I check the filter in the bottom and that is fine. Is it possible that it is somehow reversed the direction of the air flow (rotor running backwards)? I am perplexed. What am I missing?

We own a dirt devil model 088600, and are experiencing a problem with the belt wearing away a section between where the belt connects to the brushes and the motor. There is a lot of plastic/rubber residue coming out from the vacuum. We have tried new belts only to find the same problem occurs. I noticed that the source of the dust is coming from the section between the brushes and motor, where there appears to be a section that is misshapen and melted. I looked up the schematic online and can't
