The foot pedal on my Kenmore 116-31912100 stays in down position like a spring is broken.

The cantister on my DC04 no longer stays secure when in position. It does not snap and lock into place as before. I found a small plastic tab about 1/4 inch deep and less than an inch wide on the floor. Looks like it has broken off the lockin mechanism any suggestions?

Does the hoover runabout u427-930 have a filter? I replaced the belt and next to the light bulb was a square gray mat that looked like a filter covering a screen full of holes that looked like the motor was behind. I think it was a mat of cat hair so I took it off and threw it away; I just want to make sure that it wasn't a filter that I need to replace.
From doing a search on the internet and hoovers website it looks as if this unit does not have a filter. Such as a hepa that needs to be replaced or that is washable. So i think you are safe and dont need to worry about it. ... Hoover Elite U5061-900 Bagged Upright Vacuum
Have Electrolux 1590 whole house vac, and can't see how to get brushes out. Leads so short, and don't want to break them trying to free brushes. Do they slide out of plastic housing? My eyes not real good, but it looks like the leads are part of a brass sleeve that slides into the plastic housing. It also looks like the plastic housing may be a snap lock type, but I don't see how to open it.

Hi! I have a Pfaff Creative 1475. The presser foot seems "gummed up" or stuck. The back lever lifts it with great force, but then instead of staying up like the lever usually does - it then falls back down. The lifting foot stays stuck up and I have to push on it to get it back down. Help?

I have a Series G Kirby Model G7D. The other day when I was vacuuming all of a sudden the TechDrive (Power Drive Assist N/D) pedal fell off. I see the hole that it goes into but when I put it in it's loose and falls out and doesn't control the power drive anymore. When I shook the vacuum I heard something rattling around inside the vacuum head. So I unscrewed the bottom and looked inside and found a small metal part labeled K3 on one side and T on the other side. It looks like it would fit

I took my Dyson DC 25 Animal apart to clean it, and now the red foot pedal won't lock the vacuum into the upright position anymore. The trouble is the spring pin for the pedal popped out and I can't figure out where it is supposed to go.
That spring thing goes where the pedal screws into the side. When 'facing' the dyson in the front, it's on the left side. The spring's circle part and short stem section goes into a divot area on the pedal. The other end is tensioned (braced) a ... Dyson DC25 All Floors Bagless Upright Vacuum

There is an "exhaust" pipe of sorts in the lower back part of the vaccuum. Most of the dust and specially pet hair just flies out of there and up in the air. It looks like more stuff comes out than stays in the vaccuum. I'm wondering if there should be something connected to that pipe? Electrolux 5500 The cord on my vacuum cleaner won't retrack. What is the trick to get the back end off the vacuum cleaner? It looks like it was pulled out too far.

I have a 5260D Baby Lock Serger, which I had tuned up a year ago. I haven't used it very much since. When I took it in, and again now, it sews fine for awhile, then starts slowing down until it is barely sewing, even with the foot all the way down. The hand wheel seems very tight. - it doesn't turn freely, but takes a some push, like it is resisting a bit. Any idea what could cause this slow down and the tight hand wheel? I appreciate any ideas. Thank you. Maura

My Bernina 807 set on min. speed takes off fast, doesn't go slow at all, although there is a difference in the slow speed setting and high speed setting if I switch from one to the other while stitching. The machine is well oiled and goes well apart from this. I would like min. speed to start smoothly and slowly. I have read it could be capacitor in foot, but DH says it does not look burnt out. Would it help my problem to remove it? thank you, Barbara
I have a kirby G4 and the mini emtor is broke off. It looks like there is a piece that connects the mini emtor boot to the base of the vacuum. I was wondering what that part is or if it is just part of the mini emtor that broke off and stayed attached.

Pfaff Creative 1459. When trying to wind a bobbin, I do what I've always done, turn the small round "wheel" on the right, slide the bobbing into the little knob that keeps it in place and gently press the foot thing on the floor that should start the bobbing to winding. The bobbin does not turn at all causing a loud whirring sound and the needle goes up and down as if it were making stitches. I finally got some thread onto the bobbin but it is not smooth and looks like a spider. I really nee
