Having problems with your Eureka 4700A Maxima Bagless Upright Vacuum ?
How do you remove a front wheel? I'm a girl ... do i need any special tools? Thank you!
I don't believe any special tools are required to do that . Just unscrew it or un bolt it which ever is required and then put in the new one. you will ba able to access this by removing the bottom panel whick is also held on by screws. The best thing is to have a multi-driver so you can change ends if you need to. There should be 5 or six different bits in the handle of the multi driver and they are kept there for easy accessibility.Just take your time and go slow and just look closely at it as it is not a terribly difficult task. Some are more tricky than others but to my knowledge you have one that is quite straightforward if I am not mistaken. If you run in to problembs just write me back and I will try to guide you through it . Good luck and dont forget to click one the yes if this helped.

I want to open a Hoover S3825 Elite Cyclonic Vacuum to see if I can repair or replace the cord reel assembly. Currently the reel slowly draws the cord back into the canister once it is pulled out. I found the mounting screws under the rear wheels once I removed the hub but I do not know how to remove the rear wheels, everything is plastic. The front screws are under the front caster wheels and I think I need to take a screwdriver and pry off the little cylinder wheel to get to them by rotating
Motor/Fan does not run. I have removed and taken the top of the canister plastic motor housing apart and tested for power. I have power through the cord to the switch and power from the switch to the two wire terminals. I have not removed the motor. Looks like I will need special tools to take out the motor. The Vac looks almost new. It has been setting for several years. What do you think?

The removable filter at the front is cleaned regularly, and is not clogged. However, the machine appears to be suffering from being clogged by dust, as it has started to make a high pitched noise, and I fear it may burn out. I can see some dust inside the front panel but cannot see how to remove the front to clean it out. (NB. I have located two screws - one on either side - but cannot see how to proceed further.) Dyson vacuum I have a DC07 vaccuum. The problem I am having is that the front does not want to stay down as I vaccuum and I continuously have to keep stepping on the front to make it go back down to the floor. It seems as though there is either not enough weight in the front or possibly the unit just has to be broken in so that there is not so much resistance between the handle and the front of the vaccuum. Could there be something I did not remove or is this typical on these vaccuums?
